Disqualification Or Suspension of Driving Licence in Special Circumstances

There are cases which the driver will be disqualified or have his driving licence suspended immediately.  This is under the road traffic act Chapter 276 Part II section 47.
Section 47B:  Disqualification and suspension of driving will be held for drivers who have been charged for
1. causing death
2.serious injury
3.serious damages to buildings and structures
he will not be able to drive until the case has been trial by court and a verdict has been reached.  Serious Injury are injuries that cause the victim pain and unable to carry out his daily routine life for 7 or more days.  The driver will have to surrender his licence to TP is charged for death or serious injury to the victim.  If the driver continues to drive, an additional charge will be impose on the driver, this will be likely driving without proper driving licence.
The Deputy Commissioner has the authority to demand the driver surrender his drivers’ Licence and not be able to drive or ride until the court trial is over.

Driving without Driver’s Licence 
If you are caught driving without a licence, you can be charged under section 35 of the road traffic act with regards to licencing of Drivers.  Under this act, it is written that all drivers and riders on Singapore Roads require a proper Singapore or International Driving licence recognised by the Traffic Police, with regards to the class of vehicle that they are riding or driving.  If failure to do so within 24 hours, the driver can be charged for driving without valid licence under this section.  The minimum or maximum penalty is not stated in the statues,  BUT there are offenders landing themselves to jail term ESPECIALLY if there are accidents caused, Lifes taken, serious injury caused to other road users.
Likelyhood if you drive without licence, you will be suspended from Obtaining one for a period of time and face fine.  In some cases, there are also warning given only.  This is for the case where there are no serious accidents involved.
