This year our SG51 NDP is at the National Stadium in Kallang.  That being a location catered for the crowds, it is less challenging than having the parade in Padang.  The padang being downtown would mean more closures and more challenging road management.  In fact, this is also better than the Floating platform where the traffic will be obstructed for the Marina area.

Check out the NDP link for more details on Road Closure.  Anyway, it will be good just dont drive for NDP.  Even if you are going to view the fireworks.  Singapore’s public transportation is very developed and fast.  Or if you have a bicycle, just take a ride down the Kallang river to enjoy the fire works spectacular!

Nearest MRT: Stadium MRT ( Circle line)

BUS: DO take note the BUS 11 that brings you right to the door of the stadium will not be in operation.  Please walk from Kallang MRT or really just take  to the STADIUM stop.
